Ramadan Mubarak from the Yale MSA!

Once again, for Ramadan, we will be having daily iftars in the Bingham Hall Basement on Old Campus, Room 013, during orientation week from August 20th to the 26th. Maghrib prayers during tha ttime will be held in the Musalla (Bingham 012). The food for these Iftars is provided by generous donations through our "Sponsor-an-Iftar" program. If you would like to contribute, please email Omer Bajwa (omer.bajwa@yale.edu), the Coordinator of Muslim Life at Yale, for more information.

For those without access to the kitchens in the morning, free Suhoor packets will be available outside Omer Bajwa's office in the Chaplain's office starting August 20th.

Starting August 27th, daily Iftars for the Yale communitywill be moved to Battell Chapel on Old Campus. That same Friday, the Chaplain's office will be sponsoring "Move-In Day/ Meet & Greet" Iftar for students and their families. Morning Suhoors will also be moved into Battell Chapel, and we will periodically have special Suhoors hosted in the residential college kitchens.

Taraweeh prayers will be held in the Musalla after Iftar and will be led by students and members of the community from the 27th onwards.

Eid-ul-Fitr information will be posted as soon as it becomes available.

We welcome any and all students, faculty, parents, alumni, and community members who would like to participate in Ramadan activities at Yale University. We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible!
