Salam Everyone,
As the year comes to a close (for undergraduates at least), there are still a few updates that that the MSA has for you all. Firstly, on behalf of the entire MSA Board, we wish you all safe travels and an amazing summer wherever you will be!
If you will be moving out of Yale and on to greater things, we wish you great luck in all of your endeavors. We hope you enjoyed your experience with the MSA during your time at Yale and will find your way back here at some point in the future. If, however, you will be returning to Yale in the fall, we look forward to seeing you! The MSA has many new ideas and events lined up for the fall, so get excited for that.
On to business:
1. Please note that we will be continuing weekly halaqas Mondays at 8pm in the Musalla over the summer. Everyone is welcome to attend.
2. If you will be here over the summer and would like access to the Bingham Basement door leading to the Musalla, please email omer.bajwa@yale.edu.
3. For anyone who is leaving Yale (seniors and all others), please email husna.bayram@yale.edu if you would like to stay on the Yale MSA mailing lists. She will need the following information: a) your new, preferred email address, and b) whether you would like to stay on the Muslim casual list or the larger, official one with our weekly announcements or both.
4. For anyone who still has items borrowed from the Musalla (books, dvds, etc.), please return them ASAP since these items are for common use, and we would like to do an end-of-the-school-year inventory.
5. We will be sending out emails throughout the course of the summer about the beginning of the next academic year, specifically Ramadan arrangements (and more), so please be on the lookout for that.
And as always, please do not hesitate to send us any comments, concerns, or questions at any time. We love getting feedback, and our organization thrives on the support of the MSA community. Again, good luck wherever this summer takes you. We wish you all well.
Salam,
MSA Board
