Assalamu Ailaikum!
Ramadan is expected to begin around August 22, 2009. Although this is before classes officially start, we still have a host of campus Ramadan activities.
For the first days, we'll have daily Iftars in the MSA Musalla (located in the Bingham Hall basement on Old Campus). So please join us at sunset as we break our fast and pray Maghrib.
Then in the evening, we'll have Isha & Tarawih prayers in the Musulla too. Refai Arefin will be leading 8 rakat and giving a short talk in between.
Please spread the word about Ramadan, and let people know about our Iftars & Tarawih prayers. Our activities are open to students, staff, and faculty.
