Freshmen Liasons
We now have 7 new freshman liasons. The official statement is below:
After much debate and intense deliberation, the current MSA board has emerged from a grueling three hour meeting, no, not with a comprehensive economic bailout plan, but with our decisions concerning Freshmen positions on the MSA.
Each candidacy statement was painstakingly evaluated by every board member, and it soon became clear that each applicant
brought with them their own set of strengths and leadership qualities.
Upon realizing the astronomical potential of such a diverse and talented group of freshmen, we, the board, have reached
the following decisions:
(1) There shall be a Freshman Committee consisting of THREE Liaisons, and FOUR Committee Members.
(2) The Freshman Liaisons will be required to attend weekly board meetings (their attendance at committee meetings is encouraged) in order that they may serve as a link between the larger freshman class and the executive board.
(3) The Committee Members will be required to attend all committee meetings headed by Committee Chairs (current executive board members) in order that they may work closely with and learn from current board members about the execution of their duties.
(4) Both Liaisons, as well as Committee Members are required to attend weekly work sessions.
Based on our evaluation of the applicants and their individual skill sets, we congratulate our Committee Members:
Yusuf Chauhan
Sana Samnani
Rahim Sayani
Osama Zayyad
And our Liaisons:
Abeer Gulzar
Tasnim Motala
Ali Zia
